Some of the highlights of 2011 include participating in the US Department of State Small Business Conference in Alexandria, Virginia, providing training in pest risk assessment to the Philippines for the Cochran Fellows Program (August 27- September 10, 2011), attending the American Phytopathological Society meeting in Hawaii (August 6-10, 2011), selected vice-chair of the Phyllosphere Microbiology Committee, American Phytopathological Society, and attending the Specialty Crop Regulatory Assistance Workshop, USDA APHIS, Riverdale, Maryland (December 6-8, 2011).
